Laba sa Batis 02

Part 02 of the series, this artwork depicts a woman in a bright orange wrap and a yellow towel tied around her head kneels on a flat stream rock, lowering a length of white cloth into rushing water. Rendered in detailed realism, the whitewater froths and ripples around mossy boulders while sunlit green foliage glows above. The mood is unhurried and warm, a tribute to rural routine and the rhythm of life beside the water. This Philippine art realist painting suits collectors of Filipino genre scenes, landscape painting and waterscapes. It would anchor a living room, dining area or hallway, or sit well alongside other works on rural heritage and the Filipina figure. Laba sa Batis 02 is an original acrylic on canvas painting from 2022, measuring 24 x 30 inches. It is hand-signed by the artist and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The work is framed with a museum wrap and ready to hang, priced at PHP 30,000.
