Acrylic is the medium most artists on Obramaestra work in, and there are 74 acrylic works listed here. The paint dries quickly and keeps its colour over time. It also lets an artist move between thin washes and thick, textured layers in the same piece, which is why acrylic work ranges from tight realism to loose abstraction.
You will see that range on this page: careful fruit still lifes, seascapes, large abstracts and mixed media pieces built on an acrylic base. Sizes run from small studies to canvases six feet across.
All of them are one-of-one originals sold by the artist. To see every painting regardless of medium, go to all paintings.
Acrylic is water-based and dries within hours, while oil dries slowly over days or longer. Acrylic colours tend to stay as they were painted, and the surface is flexible once dry. Oil gives a longer working time and a different depth of blending.
Hang it away from direct sunlight and from heat or damp. Dust it lightly with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use water or cleaning products on the surface.
Acrylic on canvas is normally displayed without glass. Works on paper are a different matter and are usually framed behind it. Each listing states whether the piece comes framed.
Originals. Each one is the single physical artwork the artist made by hand, and we don't sell prints or editions. Once it sells, it is marked sold and can't be bought again.
The artist packs the piece and ships it with a courier such as J&T Express, LBC Express or 2GO Express. The shipping fee is calculated at checkout from the artwork's size and weight and the distance to your address. Delivery usually takes 3 to 7 days within Luzon and 5 to 10 days to the rest of the country. Our packaging guidelines ask artists to tape an X across any glass or acrylic glazing so it holds together if it cracks, protect every corner, wrap the piece in bubble wrap and box it with 2 to 3 inches of padding on every side. If a piece still arrives damaged, you can request a refund from the order page before the payment is released.
Yes. Checkout supports QR Ph, which works with GCash and most Philippine bank and e-wallet apps: you scan the code with your own app. GrabPay, Maya and ShopeePay are also accepted. Debit and credit cards are not supported yet. Your payment is held in escrow and is not sent to the artist straight away. It is released when you confirm the artwork arrived, or automatically 14 days after the artist marks it shipped. If the piece does not arrive, arrives damaged or is not as described, you can request a refund from the order page before then.
