Walking on the Riverside

A woman in a long patterned skirt walks a sunlit dirt path under a purple umbrella, her infant cradled against her. A still river runs beside her, and tall trees, wild grasses and flowering shrubs crowd the bank, with a nipa hut resting in the distance. Rendered in detailed realism, the painting balances warm ochre earth against layered greens and a soft blue sky. The mood is unhurried and tender, an everyday scene of rural Filipino life treated with real care. This landscape painting suits collectors of Philippine art and genre scenes of motherhood and provincial living, and it would anchor a living room, nursery or study with warmth and a sense of home. This piece is acrylic on canvas, measuring 24 x 30 inches, and was completed in 2025. It is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The painting is framed with a museum wrap and ready to hang, and is priced at PHP 30,000.
