Filipino art, direct from the artists

Obramaestra is an online marketplace in the Philippines where Filipino artists sell one-of-a-kind original artworks directly to collectors. The collector's payment is held in escrow until they confirm the work arrived.

Obramaestra was founded by Paul Daveril Dabuco, its Founder and CEO. Paul is a digital marketer who has generated over $3M in revenue for clients, and an art enthusiast. He started Obramaestra to give Filipino artists a direct, protected way to sell their original work.

Obramaestra is operated by DAVERIL DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES OPC, a One Person Corporation in the Philippines, registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (see the registration seal below). It is the company named in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Original physical artworks by Filipino artists based in the Philippines, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and textile work. Every listing is one of one: the single piece the artist made. Obramaestra doesn't sell prints, editions or reproductions. Prices are in Philippine pesos and set by the artist.

1. The collector pays at checkout with QR Ph (bank and e-wallet apps, including GCash), GrabPay, Maya or ShopeePay. Obramaestra collects the payment and holds it. It is not sent to the artist yet.
2. The artist packs the work, hands it to a courier and marks the order shipped.
3. The payment is released when the collector confirms the work arrived, or automatically 14 days after the artist marks it shipped, whichever comes first.
4. On release, the artist's share goes to their available balance. The Obramaestra team then pays it out to the artist's GCash, Maya or bank account.

Until release, the collector can request a refund if something is wrong. See Terms, section 6.

Artists sell under their own name, from their own profile. They set their own prices, write their own listings and keep the copyright to their work. When an artist lists a piece, they confirm it is an original they made or have the right to sell, and that the photos, medium, size and price are accurate.

The check beside a name means Obramaestra has confirmed that person's mobile number and government ID. The person verifies their number, then submits an ID, and our team reviews every request by hand. Verification is open to artists on the Basic and Pro plans (a blue check on Basic, purple on Pro) and to every collector (a black check). It confirms who the person is. It is not an appraisal or a certificate of authenticity for a particular work, and it never affects an artist's ability to list or sell.

Two ways:

• A 15% commission on the artwork price of every completed sale, on every plan. The artist keeps 85%. The shipping fee isn't commissioned and goes to the artist in full.
• Optional artist plans. Free costs nothing and includes 10 listings. Basic is ₱199 a month or ₱1,990 a year. Pro is ₱399 a month or ₱3,990 a year. Paid plans add more listings, the verified check, analytics and more exposure.

Collectors pay no fee to Obramaestra: only the artwork price and the shipping fee shown at checkout. Full details are on Pricing.

Artists pack and ship their own work through Philippine couriers such as J&T Express, JRS Express, LBC Express, Ninja Van and 2GO Express. The shipping fee is calculated at checkout from the work's size, weight and route, and shown before payment. It is final for the collector.

If a work doesn't arrive, arrives damaged or isn't as described, the collector requests a refund from the order page before escrow releases. Our team reviews every request. Damaged or not-as-described claims may require returning the work to the artist first. There are no change-of-mind returns.
