My work is driven by personal memories, emotions, and my love for Filipino culture. Filipino food often reminds me of my Lola and the memories I share with her. I also use painting to express feelings that I sometimes struggle to put into words. For me, every artwork comes from a different part of my life and the things that matter to me.
