In "Fruits From the Province," I paint the harvest as I know it: two green coconuts and one ripe papaya resting on weathered wooden planks. I kept the view from above and let each fruit carry fine beads of moisture, so the papaya glows gold and green against the dark, worn grain of the wood. Long shadows and loose, confident brushwork give this realist still life its warmth, the quiet feel of a market morning in the province. I see it hanging in a dining room, kitchen, or café, and I made it with collectors of Philippine realism, tropical still life, and contemporary Visayan art in mind. I painted this original in acrylic on canvas in 2026, and it measures 61 x 46 cm. I have signed the work, and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
